How are the Sequestration and Continuing Resolution Affecting Your Business?

bymegacorporation on Monday, March 11, 2013 4:45 AM

My first response to this question is that they are and will continue to affect business.  The volume of government business is affected by Continuing Resolutions because programs receiving federal funding cannot realistically plan annual fiscal allocations, leading to reduced orders and often short lead times.

The sequestration means real cuts in spending that will lead to real reduced business.  In the short term, these might be simpler problems to deal with.  But “short term” is not the case here.  We are moving into a period of real austerity where reduced government business will the norm.  The following links are to relevant articles.
